Puns

The pun is the lowest form of comedy. I wouldn't even consider a pun to be comedy except for the fact that the one who is delivering the pun is attempting to make a joke. Puns have never been funny to me and I find them quite annoying. I will find more primary sources to substantiate my claim. The essence of a pun is the similarities between words whether it is a change of a letter or some sort of rhyme. Letters are not comedy. If your idea of a good time is switching a couple letters around and laughing at them, you need some help and don't even invite me over to your house to subject me to your lame wit and giggles.
