"There's no place like home"

In case anyone was wondering about my previous situation, all is back to normal. My CR-V is now safe in the comfort of my garage. On my icy trek back to Clarks Summit, I could sense that he/she (I haven't looked underneath yet) missed me. I gently stroked the dashboard as if petting a dog between its ears and said, "C'mon, my little CR-V, we're finally going home." I'm not sure but I think I heard the faint sounds of "Happy Trails" playing over the radio.

What Superbowl?

What a weird day. First of all, I was humbled by the fact that I was almost 30 minutes late for worship team rehearsal this morning. That one hurt because I pride myself on being punctual. Does anyone else's mouth taste like feet? Anyway, two hours later I was late for the beginning of one of our worship services. Ok, the first time was humbling... this was getting painful. Then, we had a memorial service at church for an incredible, loving guy. What a mournful celebration. Later, I saw Janet Jackson's boob on the big screen at church. [Chuckle] Those things and other things that happened made the last 16 hours very interesting. It wasn't as much a roller-coaster of emotions as it was a bumper car ride getting jarred all over the place and being hit with everything from every direction.
